Traditional Hiking Tour with Walter Kolb, the FMG,
the circle of business juniors and the students from Madison
This year again we shall hike in
the Kaiserstuhl. Walter Kolb will guide us into the vineyards
and we will end up at Freiherr von Gleichenstein's winery.
We shall meet on the P+R parking lot Paduaallee just opposite the number
1 streetcar stop Sundgauallee at 10.30 a.m. car-pooling.
From there we drive via
Gottenheim-Bötzingen-Vogelsangpass-Oberbergen to Oberrotweil. Turn right
just behind the winery von Gleichenstein following the direction
Bischoffingen-Burkheim to the parking lot of of Oberrotweil's cemetery
just opposite of von Gleichenstein's winery.
From there we start around 11.00 a.m. passing Oberrotweil
and hiking through the
vineyards to Oberbergen. We continue to Mondhalte for a break and longer
stop enjoying the pretty view down on the Rhine valley and the Vosges
mountains.
At about 1.30 p.m. we shall arrive at von Gleichenstein's winery for a
snack waiting for us. The American students are invited.
We shall be back at the parking lot the latest at 3.30 p.m. and return to Freiburg
as you wish.

drinks and surprises
Followed at 7 p.m.: Live music. Jam Session
with the living legend Perry Robinson, „the most gifted
clarinetist in Modern Jazz" (New York Times) and musicians
of the
FunkReich band: Frederic Heisler, drums and Emanuel Teschke,
bass.
